Taiwan’s Fu Chao-hsuan has won gold in the men’s high jump at the Asian Games, becoming the country’s first male athletics gold medalist at the competition in 60 years. The 23-year-old athlete from Taoyuan cleared 2.25 meters on Sunday, matching his season best to secure the title. The victory marks Taiwan’s first track and field gold medal at the Asian Games since Wu Ah-min won the decathlon in 1966.
