On Thursday, Taiwan’s Naraka: Bladepoint team won bronze in the semifinals after falling 0 to 3 to the Chinese team. It's Taiwan's first esports medal at the Games. On Wednesday, Taiwan’s table tennis team also secured bronze after back-to-back sweeps to the semifinals before also falling to China 0-3.

Taiwan's performance on Thursday brings its medal count to 15 — 1 gold, 3 silver and 11 bronze.

A day earlier, elsewhere in Nagoya, Taiwan table tennis team also secured bronze after advancing to the semifinals with back-to-back sweeps before also falling 0-3 to China.
