Taiwan Wins First Ever Medals in Asian Games Skateboarding Event

Taiwan has won its first-ever skateboarding medals at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan. Twelve-year-old Ku Yong-yan and 14-year-old Lin Yi-fan both bagged silver in the men’s and women’s park finals, respectively, marking a major milestone for Taiwan in the sport. Meanwhile, Lai Kuan-chieh clinched bronze in the men’s canoe single 500-meter final on the same day.
