Taiwanese martial artists added to their medal haul at the Asian Games on Tuesday, clinching three bronze medals across Karate and Wushu events. In Men’s 84kg Kumite Karate, Chung Meng-yu edged out India’s Chetan Bhatt. After ending regulation tied 1-1, Chung claimed victory by virtue of the first-score advantage. In the Women’s Team Kata event, the trio of Chien Hui-hsuan, Tien Hsin-erh and Hung Chi-hsuan dominated Nepal in a 5-0 sweep. Rounding out Tuesday’s success, Liu Chang-min earned bronze in the Men’s Wushu event.
