Taiwan's national baseball team defeated China on Sunday to claim bronze at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan. The gold medal game is set to take place Sunday night, with Japan and South Korea battling for the top spot.

Taiwan has claimed the bronze medal in baseball at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan.

Competing as Chinese Taipei, the national team defeated China 5-1. Taiwan’s players took control of the game early and held their lead through the end. Starting pitcher Lin Yu-min, who plays in the Arizona Diamondbacks’ minor league system, delivered a strong performance, throwing eight scoreless innings.
