More Men Than Women Apply for Day-Based Parental Leave in May

Men accounted for 50.3% of parental leave requests in May, outnumbering women for the month. While more women are on leave overall, the total ratio is approaching equality. This shifting demographic follows a new policy allowing parents to take 30 individual days off over a two-year period, a flexible system already embraced by over a quarter of parents.
