Born in 1987, Fu Meng-po graduated from the Department of Theatre Arts at Taipei National University of the Arts. In 2016, he made his debut in the television drama Ba Ji Teenagers and began practicing Baijiquan (a traditional Chinese martial art). This role won Fu a nomination for Best Male Lead in a Television Series at the Golden Bell Awards for the first time. In 2017, Fu won Best Male Lead in a Miniseries or a Television Film at the Golden Bell Awards for the television film The Last Verse. The judges described his performance as "natural yet practiced." In 2018, Fu was nominated Best New Performer for Father to Son at the 55th Golden Horse Awards. In 2019, chosen by Jackie Chan, Fu played a martial art specialist guardsman in the period drama The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty, demonstrating his great fighting skills. In 2023, Fu won Best Supporting Actor at the 25th Taipei Film Awards and was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 60th Golden Horse Awards for the film Day Off. For Fu Meng-po, every new character is a fresh start full of the unknown. Even now, he still enjoys the process of exploring acting and has kept a playful spirit as he continues improving himself.
