Goodick is a rock band from old Taichung! They have been around since 2005 but this latest resurgence in 2020 following several hiatuses has proven to be the most successful. “Brotherhood” is about their celebrated fan club that’s grown from 20 initial members to a family of over 500 loyal fans. Taichung audiences are known to be welcoming. The success of one musician is a credit to all local performers. “Sian Zu Rong Zong” describes the high expectations that every parent has for their child. Mom and dad always expect good grades and a strong career as a path to success. Although the reality of choosing your own path may turn out different than expected. “Hong Siann” describes the stories, people, and situations that unfold in vintage entertainment venues around the city. “Saihu” is full of religious phenomenon, but the song was written from the personal revelation that in bad situations, the best solutions are often found within yourself.
