Taiwan Expands Workplace Subsidies for Disabled Workers
Taiwan’s labor ministry is relaxing rules for workplace disability subsidies, allowing workers with dementia or hearing loss in one ear to receive support without official certification. The expanded program now accepts direct applications from employees for equipment upgrades. With an increased budget, the ministry aims to foster inclusive environments by assessing individual needs on-site and providing grants of up to US$3,100.
