Taiwan's Supreme Court dismissed their appeals, leaving prison terms of 6 and 10 years in place. The court says it found no errors in the lower court's ruling. The case involved the disclosure of TSMC’s manufacturing secrets for its 2- and 14-nanometer chips, which Taiwan classifies as national core key technologies.

Taiwan's Supreme Court dismissed their appeals on Thursday, meaning the two will have to serve prison sentences of 6 and 10 years separately. The Supreme Court says it found no errors in the lower courts' findings. The case involved the disclosure of manufacturing processes for TSMC's 2- and 14-nanometer processes. This case marks the first corporate indictment under the National Security Act.
