Taiwan's interior ministry is preparing to ask the Constitutional Court to dissolve the pro-Beijing Chinese Unification Promotion Party, saying they pose a risk to national security and election integrity. The CUPP has since condemned the move, saying the government is abusing its power to target a legally registered political party.
