Life in the Market
The Binjiang Fruit and Vegetable Market in Taipei City was established in 1985 and has been continuously supplying nearly one-third of fresh fruits and vegetables to the greater Taipei area. It is Taiwan's only three-dimensional structure wholesale market, serving both wholesale and retail functions. This documentary records the events that occurred in this market within 48 hours, providing a glimpse into the vegetable and fruit auction that only exists late at night and experiences a special sense of isolation from the general society.
