Ku Ming-shen: Dance to be Free
Taiwanese dancer, Ku Ming-shen, was the first person to introduce contact improvisation to Asia. Contact improvisation is a dance concept that embodies political, open group participation, and integration of non-Western cultural elements. This film documents the preparation process of her cross-border collaborative stage work “Doppler effect” and shows the outdoor structural dance work “View Hunting”.
