In South Korea, heat-sensing drones are being used to monitor temperatures and broadcast heat warnings to farmers working in their fields. The technology, first developed for wildlife monitoring, is helping protect vulnerable farmers as temperatures exceed 41°C and extreme heat cuts working hours and crop yields.
