Starting in October, Taiwan will offer returning foreign visitors up to US$160 in travel credit, plus an additional US$95 for a companion. Groups visiting on company reward trips can also qualify for accommodation subsidies in select locations outside Taipei, while Taiwanese citizens traveling domestically will receive their own perks. The incentives run through the end of March 2027.

Taiwan’s government is rolling out financial incentives to boost tourism starting in the fall.
From October, repeat foreign visitors can register online to win 160 US dollars in travel credit, plus 95 US dollars for a companion. Groups visiting on company reward trips can also win subsidies for accommodation in select locations outside Taipei. This round of incentives also includes perks for Taiwanese citizens traveling within the country. It's available until the end of March 2027.

Taiwan is rolling out incentives to attract foreign visitors beginning this fall.
Starting October, Taiwan's Tourism Administration is offering new perks for foreign visitors. Repeat independent travelers can register online to enter weekly draws for 160 US dollars in travel credits, plus a bonus if bringing a companion. Foreign tour groups with returning travelers can receive up to 945 US dollars. While corporate and trade show folks heading outside Taipei can get up to 125 US dollars per person. Taiwan has struggled to see inbound tourism recover to pre-pandemic levels.
