One of Taiwan's biggest travel agencies reported that the Moroccan embassy in Japan has suspended visa applications for Taiwanese passport holders, though no notice was given by Moroccan authorities. Taiwan's foreign ministry said it is trying to contact the embassy for an explanation and is monitoring the situation. Taiwanese seeking entry to Morocco must apply through the embassy in Japan, as the two countries don't have official ties.
