EVA Air to Begin Direct Taipei-Delhi Flights This December

EVA Air will launch direct flights between Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport and Delhi's Indira Gandhi Airport in December after nonstop routes were dropped during the pandemic. This makes EVA Air the only airline to offer a direct link between Taiwan and India. The service will operate five times a week, with bookings already open. The new route reflects growing ties between Taiwan and India, particularly in the technology sector. EVA Air, one of Taiwan’s major carriers, will launch five direct flights a week between Taipei and Delhi. This comes after nonstop air links between the two countries were dropped during the pandemic. The new route signals deepening Taiwan-India ties, especially in tech and tourism. Officials are looking to make Taipei a stopover destination between India and the US. Bookings for flights from December 1 are now available.
