EVA Air will launch direct flights between Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport and Delhi's Indira Gandhi Airport in December after nonstop routes were dropped during the pandemic. This makes EVA Air the only airline to offer a direct link between Taiwan and India. The service will operate five times a week, with bookings already open. The new route reflects growing ties between Taiwan and India, particularly in the technology sector. EVA Air also aims to attract travelers flying between the United States and India by positioning Taipei as a stopover hub with connections to destinations across the United States and Asia.
