Taiwan is trying to keep up with the needs of its rapidly aging population. A district in central Taipei has rolled out a pedestrian-friendly zone, using curved roads, wider sidewalks and better signage in an effort to improve safety for the area's seniors. And a village in Yunlin has opened a community kitchen so older residents don't need to drive to the city for food.
