Gov't Offers Renovation Subsidies for Old Apartments
Taiwan's government wants to give a makeover to old residential properties, making sure they're earthquake-proof and accessible for people with mobility issues. The new initiative comes as Taiwan becomes a super-aged society and over half of residences are over 30 years old.
