Taiwan Solicits Chinese Intelligence
REPORTER:
The National Security Bureau has launched a website it says will give Chinese citizens a safe channel for sharing intelligence with Taiwan.
The bureau says it has seen an uptick in popular dissatisfaction in China and requests from Chinese people to share what they know about China’s political, military or economic situation. It says by following six safety procedures, it can ensure Chinese informants’ security and anonymity. The bureau says it will use technology and expert teams to sift through the intel it receives through the website.
