Taiwan Rocket Crashes After Launch Test Goes Off Course

A satellite launch vehicle crashed in southern Taiwan during a test by the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology. The institute said it activated the rocket’s self-destruct system after detecting “orbital anomalies.” The vehicle came down within the designated safety area near the launch facility in Pingtung County with no injuries reported.
