Activists Call for Changes to Sexual Assault Laws on International Women's Day
On International Women’s Day, activists in Taiwan called for legal changes to give young survivors of sexual assault more time to report their cases. Earlier this year, the Cabinet approved a draft amendment that would extend the statute of limitations for such cases, with the clock starting when the survivor turns 20.
