Workers Push for Migrant Equality in Taipei Labor Day March
Thousands of workers held a rally in Taipei on May 1, Labor Day, marching from the Presidential Office to the legislature to demand better labor protections. Demonstrators also highlighted the need for equal treatment of migrant workers, who make up a significant part of Taiwan’s workforce as the country's population ages.
