Legislature Bans Relationships Between Teachers and Minor Students
Taiwan’s legislature has made it illegal for teachers to have relationships with underage students. The changes are to the Gender Equity Education Act, the first of three gender equality laws to be revised. The others aim to fight sexual harassment in general and in the workplace.
