Rice Radicals Are Perfect for a Taiwanese Snack Haul! Ep8
The Mandarin character for rice is a pictogram depicting an image of a stem with six grains of rice. The two dots in the middle were later connected for convenience and eventually evolved into a cross with four dots. The character we use today resembles a rice husk that has been cracked open. Hebe and Becca are exploring all kinds of rice foods made with different varieties of rice.
