Dear Mother
Rianne is a young girl of mixed-race who was born in Taiwan and grew up in the Netherlands. She has always been confused about her identity and often thinks about her birth mother in Taiwan. While traveling to Taipei, she confronts herself, her birthplace, her mother, and her mother's past in this city that has always captured her imagination. This is a story about international adoption and the tangled feelings between a child and her birth mother. How they deal with their fated separation and the emptiness it has left in their lives. A journey of searching for who you are and where you belong. _ Director: CHU Yun-tien Producer: LAI Kuan-Yuan
