Brother Tsao's Fishing Nets
"Fishing nets are like humans - they have both a head and a back," explains fishing net maker Chuang Sung-hsiung, also known as "Brother Tsao." After making fishing nets for over 40 years, he says the key is attention to detail. Every little bit must be sturdy so that the net does not fall apart. If that were to happen, the catch would escape while the fishermen are still at sea.
