A boat carrying Indian tourists capsized near an island south of Vietnam, leaving at least 15 of them dead.

At least 15 people are dead after a ship capsized off Vietnam’s southwest coast.

 

All of the dead are tourists from India. The ship was carrying 36 people when it flipped over near Phu Quoc Island. Local media reports that the ship was going through rough waters and large waves at the time of the accident. India’s embassy in Vietnam says it is helping the victims’ families.
