Samsung Electronics workers have suspended a planned 18-day strike after reaching a tentative pay agreement with management, which will be put to vote. Nearly 48,000 union members had threatened to walk off the job May 21 over bonus disputes, raising concerns about South Korea’s economy and the global semiconductor supply chain.
