China Moves To Cut Off Rare Earth Exports to Japan: WSJ
The Wall Street Journal reports that China is cutting off Japanese companies' access to critical rare earth metals and minerals, the same week it announced an export ban on dual-use technology to Japan. China has also launched an investigation into imports from Japan of a chemical critical to producing semiconductors.
