Philippines Ship Reports Being Tailed by Chinese Navy in South China Sea

The Philippine navy reported "aggressive and unsafe" movements by two Chinese navy vessels on May 5 in the South China Sea. The Philippine vessel was conducting patrols in the disputed Scarborough Shoal, which both countries claim. China said that the Philippines ship was "attempting to invade" the area, and that expelling the ship was within its legal bounds.
