Culture Ministry To Reconsider Subsidies Over Hit Movie Controversy
The culture ministry said it will consult with relevant stakeholders on whether to revoke subsidies for Taiwan’s highest-grossing film "Sunshine Women's Choir." It comes after the prison drama has come under fire for a promotional post on Chinese social media platform Weibo referring to Taiwan as "China's Taiwan region."
