Taiwan's Lin Yu-ting Advances to Final at World Boxing Cup in China

Taiwan’s top boxer Lin Yu-ting has made the final round of the World Boxing Cup in China. In her semifinal on Saturday, Lin defeated China's Yang Chengyu, the 2023 World Boxing Cup champion, in the women’s 60-kilogram division. She will fight Viktoriya Grafeyeva from Kazakhstan in the gold medal bout on Sunday.

Taiwan’s top boxer Lin Yu-ting has made the final round of the World Boxing Cup in China.

 

In her semi-final on Saturday, Lin defeated China's Yang Chengyu, the 2023 World Boxing Cup champion, 4-1 in the women’s 60-kilogram division. She will fight Viktoriya Grafeyeva from Kazakhstan in the final on Sunday.

 

This event marks Lin’s second international competition since winning Olympic gold in Paris in 2024. In April, Lin took bronze at the Asian Boxing Elite Boxing Championships in Mongolia.
