Taiwan Army Tests Self-Propelled Howitzers in Joint Defense Drills
Taiwan's Army tested its US-made M110 self-propelled howitzers on Wednesday as part of its Joint Defense Exercise. The 203mm artillery systems, capable of firing three rounds every two minutes, were used to evaluate coordination under a decentralized command structure.

Taiwan’s military rolled out its big guns on the third day of joint defense drills.
The Army tested its US-made M110 self-propelled howitzers on Wednesday. These can lob up to three hefty 203 millimeter shells every two minutes. They worked on coordination using a decentralized command structure. Five days of Joint Defense Exercises are practicing countering forces approaching Taiwan by air and sea ahead of the larger annual Han Kuang exercises in August.
