Taiwan Reports More Than 5,000 Increase in Volunteer Military Personnel
Taiwan’s military said in a report to the legislature that there's a rise in volunteer recruitment. The defense ministry said the armed forces’ personnel fill rate stood at 80% at the end of 2025, with volunteer troop numbers in June up by more than 5,000 compared with a year earlier.
