Taiwan has welcomed a first batch of Indonesian hospitality professionals hired to staff hotels in the country under a new skilled workers program.

Taiwan has welcomed the first group of Indonesian nationals hired to work in hotels under a new skilled worker program.

The 35 newly arrived workers all completed at least a year of internships in Taiwan’s hospitality industry. They have language skills and other qualifications required under the program. The skilled worker program also covers jobs at commercial port terminals, as Taiwan seeks to address labor shortages.
