Social Worker Sentenced for Negligent Death of Toddler
Social workers, childcare providers and government staffers in charge of them are under scrutiny in Taiwan. That's as a Taipei court sentenced a social worker to two years in prison over the negligent death of a toddler a day after the country passed stricter childcare regulations. But some childcare social workers say their overwhelming workload is making it hard for them to care for everyone.
