Southern Taiwan Hit by Strong Gusts From Typhoon Bavi
Typhoon Bavi’s outer circulation brought strong winds to southern Taiwan, farms, signs and other structures suffering damage. Taiwan's energy utility says close to 6,000 households lost power at one point, with nearly 3,000 households still without electricity as of Saturday morning.
