Taiwan President Lai Meets With Environmental Groups Ahead of World Earth Day
Taiwan President Lai Ching-te sat down with a dozen environmental groups for an annual meeting ahead of World Earth Day. The groups said they were concerned over efforts to return to nuclear power and say true balance between the environment and the economy can only be reached through cross-department discussions by order of the president.
