Fishers in Keelung Secure Their Boats Ahead of Typhoon Bavi
Fishers operating out of Taiwan's northern port of Keelung are rushing to secure their boats as the powerful Typhoon Bavi nears. Owners say they are worried about the storm’s size and strong winds, with crew staying onboard to prevent damage. The typhoon has forced fishing vessels to return to harbor early as Bavi moves quickly and is expected to pass to the north of Taiwan before heading toward China.
