Local Taiwan Church Works to Support Migrant Fishermen
Taipei's St. Christopher's Church, located in the city's "Little Manila," is known for its services provided to migrant fishermen who have come to call Taiwan their new home. Through the church's Migrant Workers Concern Desk, volunteers, priests and nuns hold baking classes and masses for the fishermen, hoping to help those most vulnerable to develop new skills so they can empower themselves.
