Comparison Between Taiwan and Afghanistan
To discuss the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan and any comparisons with Taiwan, I spoke to Vincent Chao, the former political affairs head at Taiwan’s mission to the United States in Washington, and currently an adjunct fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. I began by asking him how Taiwan could be compared to Afghanistan.
