Taiwan’s air force is holding its annual Tien Lung drills. Air Force F-16s, Mirage-2000s, and Indigenous Defense Fighters are reportedly being put to the test in Jiadong, Pingtung County. These latest drills coincide with increased military presence in the region. The Chinese military on Sunday has condemned the U.S and Canada for each sending a warship through the Taiwan Strait last week. We spoke with Professor Wu Jieh-min on the increased tensions and how Taiwan should respond.
