Taiwan's proposed 2027 military budget includes over $45 million US dollars for truck-mounted missile systems.

Last August, the defense ministry revealed it had developed a new hellfire missile launch system using converted civilian vehicles. Hellfire missiles are US-made and can be fired from the air, ground, and sea. But some experts are concerned that firing missiles from disguised vehicles could be dangerous.

Being disguised as a civilian vehicle always lead to errors in judgement. These kinds of tactics could easily provoke the other side and lead to direct attacks or counterattacks.
