Residents of West Kalimantan province in the Indonesian part of Borneo are struggling to survive under thick smoke from nearby wildfires that have raged for weeks. The area has been prone to fires all year due to climate change and a particularly strong El Nino. While students stay home, people who rely on customers for business are finding it hard to make a living.
