At least 20 people are dead after a magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck off eastern Indonesia early Saturday morning.

Video showed major damage to buildings and the ground shook for about a minute, killing several residents in a port town in their sleep. Rescue crews are scrambling to reach the area near the quake's epicenter, which has been blocked by landslides. A tsunami warning was lifted hours after the tremor.
