Nvidia is pushing back against a New York Times report that linked CEO Jensen Huang to a suspected Chinese spy. The report highlighted Huang’s relationship with Alice Huang, a Chinese citizen and former executive at Singapore-based firm Megaspeed, and alleged she passed information to Beijing. Speaking to Bloomberg News, Jensen Huang said Nvidia’s business with Megaspeed was “normal and not unusual.” He also said the company verified that Megaspeed did not illegally divert restricted AI chips to China. Nvidia has rejected suggestions that its dealings with the firm were improper.
