British MPs: We Must Help Taiwan as Much as Possible
In today’s show, we speak to a UK parliamentary delegation who visited Taiwan, and we discuss Taiwan-British relations with a UK-based Taiwan academic. Bob Stewart MP is the Chair of the British-Taiwan All-Party Parliamentary Group and a member of the UK Parliament’s National Security Select Committee. Colonel Bob Stewart previously served in the British military in Bosnia. Sarah Atherton MP accompanied Bob Stewart on the Taiwan visit. She is a Vice Chair of the British-Taiwan All-Party Parliamentary Group. Ms. Atherton is a member of the UK Parliament’s Defense Select Committee. Chun-yi Lee is an Assistant Professor in Politics and International Relations at Nottingham University. She is also the director of Taiwan Studies Program at the university.
