Thanks to pressure from China, Taiwan has found itself isolated on the global stage, excluded from the United Nations and most other international bodies. And yet the CEO of Taiwanese crowdfunding agency Baker-Founder, says the international community is now coming to the Taiwan-Reyhanli Center for World Citizens - an award-winning refugee center built by a Taiwanese architect. CEO Tahan Lin’s agency helped raise over US$500,000 to fund the first phase of construction of the Taiwan Center, where many NGOs and international organizations now want to base themselves, Lin tells Taiwan Talks reporter Irene Chou.
