US Diplomat Calls Taiwan Key Partner in AI Supply Chains

US Under Secretary of State Jacob Helberg has described Taiwan as a key partner in securing supply chains critical to AI, under the Pax Silica initiative. He made the statement in a social media post following a Washington meeting with Raymond Greene, the US's top diplomat to Taiwan. Taiwan is not a member of Pax Silica but has signed a separate semiconductor cooperation agreement with the US.
