Pax Silica is a US-led initiative to build secure tech supply chains for the US and its allies. Taiwan is not a member of the initiative but has signed a separate agreement with the US about cooperating on semiconductors.

Pax Silica Taiwan: US to Work Closely with Taiwan

The US State Department says the US will work closely with Taiwan on securing supply chains critical to AI development.
The announcement came after a meeting in Washington between Under Secretary of State Jacob Helberg and American Institute in Taiwan Director Raymond Greene, the de facto US ambassador to Taiwan.
They said Taiwan and the US will work on securing the semiconductor supply chains through Pax Silica, US-led initiative for the US and its allies to secure critical semiconductors, AI, and raw material supply chains against geopolitical risks.
Although not among the signatories, Taiwan has expressed its support of the initiative and signed a separate bilateral agreement with the US on semiconductor cooperation.
